I gave up on being nice. I started putting more value on other qualities: passion, bravery, intelligence, practicality, humor, patience, fairness, sensitivity. I would add that ugly is people that stereotype people with disabilities. Then there are those people that do not even take people with disabilities into account like, architects that design building sand offices that are not accessible for the disabled.
We need to show people how to treat us and teach them what we need.
