“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”
“I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.”
“Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.”
Louisa May Alcott
When you are newly disabled, please do not believe everything people tell you. Remember what I said earlier in the week and be mindful. Take a step back and think about how things make you feel. Think about what you want out of life and set your goals. Yes, even if you are disabled you can have goals. There are people with disabilities in just about every profession you can imagine. Now, tell me what your goals are in the comment section. Please share this with your friends so everyone knows they can dream!
