Sweet Cravings

For the last 2 days I have been craving something sweet. Since my mobility is limited I cannot just walk over to the store so I have to rely on others. My sister has been very busy and has had barely enough time to drop off my wash let alone time to stop and pick me up candy that I really do not need. My sweet tooth got the best of me today and I whipped up a batch of peanut butter cookies. The beauty of the recipe that I will include at the end of this post is that it is small, only yielding about a dozen and a half cookies. The other positive is there are only4 Ingredients, or 5 the way I make them. So there is not much clean up and you do not have lots of cookies around to tempt you. Without further delay here is the recipe and I hope you enjoy!

Peanut Butter Cookies Easy and Quick

1 cup of creamy peanut butter

1 cup of brown sugar – I use 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar

1 egg

1 tea spoon vanilla extract (optional)

Pre heat oven at 350 degrees

Mix together in a mixing bowl until clay like.

Make in to little balls about half inch or 1 inch (depending on size of cookie you like

And place on cookie sheet

with a little brown sugar take a fork and flatten the ball using the fork with brown sugar on it, in a criss cross manner

Bake for about 7 or 10 minutes.

The secret is to let completely dry or else they will crumble

  1. WOW I had no idea you could make a cookie without flour! I am intrigued to try these! I am very much the same..when I get a sweet tooth I usually whip something up in the kitchen instead of going out for something. Better ingredients too! The funny thing is by the time I make and bake it my sweet tooth is gone!
    Here is another recipe for you;
    In a mini food processor add 2 avocados, 1/4-1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 – 1/2 cup honey swig of vanilla and whirl and eat! You will never know it was made with avocado!
