remember to laugh

Choice was our theme of the week a couple of weeks ago, now this week we are looking at happiness. The Helen Keller quote is great, how many times do we get caught up on something not going the way we want. Then we have Wayne Dyer reminding us that we can’t be angry and happy at the same time so if we get so caught up on things not going the way we think they should then we are not going to be happy.

Try this, next time something does not go the way you want or think it should ask yourself if there is anything you can do about it. If the answer is no then let it go. If the answer is yes then take action. Let the no close the door and move on to the next thing. Ask yourself what you could have done differently and what action you will take next time so you don’t have the same problem. Then see if there is something you can do now to accomplish your original goal.

Please remember this that you can either laugh about it or cry about it, but it will still be there unchanged, so laughing is at least better for you and puts you in a better frame of mind.

So laugh often and remember to smell the flowers.
