I almost feel weird saying that with snow on the ground. I love the promise of renewal that spring brings, I guess that’s why it’s my favorite season. Today’s picture is in honor of my grandma, and my mom, gladiolus were my grandma’s favorite flower and yellow my mom’s favorite color.
"Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party!"’
"They say it’s better to bury your sadness in a graveyard or garden that waits for the spring to wake from its sleep and burst into green."
"By recollecting the pleasures I have had formerly, I renew them, I enjoy them a second time, while I laugh at the remembrance of troubles now past, and which I no longer feel."
When you first become disabled remember happy times that will help get you through the transition into becoming disabled. Don’t dwell on what is happening right now, maybe you can find something that you can find a little funny or you can tie it back to a happy memory.
Work on becoming stronger, but remember happy times and remember that you are in transition and renewal. Like spring you can bloom again into a beautiful flower. You just might be a little different than before.
