This week’s theme is goals and I hope you can find some inspiration!
"The tragedy of life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach."
"We come this way but once. We can either tiptoe through life and hope we get to death without being badly bruised or we can live a full, complete life achieving our goals and realizing our wildest dreams."
Did you set any goals or resolutions at the beginning of the year? Have you kept any of them? I decided that I was not going to make New Year’s resolutions anymore because I never seemed to keep them and then I would get depressed. I know many people have the goal of losing weight and it has been really nice out several days last week, and that’s what made me think of writing this. Are you putting off your goals because you are disabled or you think you can’t do something? I just found out that one of my cat’s has diabetes and now I have to give him a shot twice a day. I did not think I could do it, but it really isn’t that bad not that I am figuring out how best to do it for me. Needless to say I am not doing it the same way the vet did it, but close. The point is, I am not allowing my blindness to dictate what I can or cannot do. If you would like to talk to me about how I got to this point and chat, with no pressure, it will be like having tea with a friend. Just go to my calendar and pick a time that works for you and we can get to know each other and I’ll tell you how I am giving the cat shots if you want.
