I must admit I did not know who Menachem Mendel Schneerson was before I found this quote. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menachem_Mendel_Schneerson turns out he was a famous rabbi who spearheads public lighting of the Chanukah menorah and did a lot of great human rights work. It is understandable how we can have such a wonderful quote from him.
This man escaped the Nazi’s so he knew how to enjoy a moment. We need to remember that small wins are still wins and they need to be celebrated. If you did something you haven’t done before give yourself a pat on the back or high five yourself. Being disabled can be very challenging, but when you focus on the positive things become easier. I tell myself "good job" when I get something right that I have been struggling with. When you celebrate the small things it will help you are more patient with yourself and it will come more naturally.
